We have used Carol @Stones K-9 since 2008… No other Kennel will ever compare to Stones..Carol and all her Staff are wonderful.
…Finding Carol @ K9 Stones has been the best find in our life….we can go away with complete piece of mind, it is like home from home for them……when we tell our dogs (2 Rotties…but one passed away few months ago from Cancer)… they are going to see Carol…They get so excited…straight to the truck…..when we get to Stones K9….They are out of the truck and right in the door to see Carol…..When we pick them up again they look great, no weight loss, no crying…..Just look like we never left them….
You will never find anywhere like Stones K9……They are amazing…It feels like they are your own family, plus they are so ACCOMMODATING with time, giving medication, special needs, feeding…One of our dogs was on Chemo…when I asked Carol was she ok with Giving him his Chemo medication (have to wear gloves when handling the pill)….she automatically replied “Of course no problem”….(other Kennels would NOT give Chemo…it was only one pill 2 times a day)
…..Also when you walk into the Stones K-9 kennels you will be shocked to find how CLEAN IT IS & SMELLS SO GOOD….they keep their facility spotless, in the winter it is so cozy and warm and then in the Summer they have it really cool….I really cannot say enough about Stones K-9…They have a large sleeping area for each dog & your dog can go outside to his/her own dog run…..best set-up I have ever seen.
We had tried a lot of places when we moved back to the city Our Family moved back to San Francisco in 2010, but we returned back to Antioch in 2013….
….Our biggest problem when we moved to San Francisco was finding Boarding for our 2 Rotties …. the boarding Kennels had no experience with handling large breed dogs.. kennels were really dirty, smell was terrible..too many dogs and not enough staff to look after them. In the few years in the City we tried 6 different Kennels….All were Terrible, one Boarding kennel did not even know we came back and got both our dogs…another had staff that asked us to go get our own dogs out of the kennels as she was scared of dogs…It was really an nightmare.
I only Wish I could give Stones K-9 10 stars as 5 is not enough…..their service is 100%.
Please do not ever hesitate to use Carol @ Stones K-9…you will never find a facility as good as Stones K-9

Dutch and Riley have been coming to Doggie Daycare for close to a year and have enjoyed the experience. Interacting with other dogs have helped them develop their socializing skills. We encourage you to call for an appointment.

Bruno has been visiting the Stones K9 Kennel for nearly 2 years now. He is a Bullmastiff and is over 150 pounds. We are very particular with our “baby” and we feel extremely fortunate to have found the Stones Kennel. Most of our trips are planned either for business or pleasure, but even when we have had last minute emergencies, they have always been exceptionally accommodating to us. The longest period of time that we had to leave Bruno was nearly three weeks. He was as happy when we picked him up as when we left him. We know that he is cared for and given a great deal of attention while there. We also show Bruno in AKC shows and while he is at Stone K9, his training and grooming is always kept up.
I can not say enough about Carol and her family. When we arrive at Stones K9 and we let Bruno out, he runs for Natasha like she is his best friend. When we have to leave town, we know that Bruno will be well taken care of and cared for.
We have been meaning to write you and tell you how fortunate we are to have such a wonderful boarding facility for our child (aka two year old. 90lb, yellow lab named Hauler).
When we first got Hauler we were vary anxious about leaving him and only did so after we were unable to find a last minute airline ticket for him to come with us. We had checked your place out ahead of time and were very impresses with the size of each stall, the amount of play time the dogs received, and the cleanliness of the facility. We also like that it was family owned and operated. We were still little nervous to leave Hauler, but you made us feel at ease with our decision and we were able to enjoy our trip. When we arrived to pick up Hauler I thought he would be really excited to see us, however when you opened the stall door he ran out of the stall and directly into Tash’s arms.
At first we were a little jealous by this, but then we realized how well he was taken care of and how much he enjoyed him self and decided we were glad he had a great time. Hauler loves going for a sleepover at the doggie place and we cannot say enough good things about your family and your facility. It is top nosh and far above the rest. We have used other facilities in the area and no one can take better care of Hauler like you.
We thank you for treating our dog like your own.
Kevin, Lindsey, & Hauler Moore.
Stone’s K9 is a great place to board your pups! The facilities are really clean, they have heaters for the dogs, plenty of space to play, the owners truly do love dogs and they are warm and super accommodating. We HATE leaving our dogs, but when we do, we will only board them at Stone’s K9.

I purchased one of my dogs from Carol so I never worried about leaving Spice. She is always happy to go there. Leila, however, is my Pomeranian. I had never left her before. Last summer, my family and I traveled to Hawaii. Knowing how nervous I was Carol sent my pictures of my dogs during the week as well as text messages. When I got home I was just a little hurt. Leila seemed to be perfectly happy and didn’t even miss me. It is a great home away from home for all three of my dogs.

After having tried several boarding facilities in the last few years, we have finally found the one that we feel is a home away from home for our dogs. We have two, a boxer named Lucy and a lhasa apso named Sneakers, and they are a handful at times. Stone’s K-9 is accommodating and pristinely maintained, as well as fun, all prerequisites for us when we need to have our dogs taken care of for awhile. This last time we boarded our kids while went away on our honeymoon, and we had the peace of mind knowing they were loved when we were away. They are part of the Stone’s family and our dogs don’t seem very happy to leave when we come back to get em’. Trust your dogs to this place!
My husband and I just got our first addition to the family in February- our boxer Murphy. Anxious about our first out of town experience and boarding him, our friends recommended Stone’s K9 and so we tried them. Without doubt, they took care of Murphy, fed him, played with him and were flexible to the needs of what Murphy’s personality were. The facility is clean, well manicured and once you establish you take your animal there, it’s like your family. We won’t take Murphy anywhere else and would highly recommend Stone’s K9 to anyone, especially someone looking for the first time to secure their family pet.
I am so pleased, they have added a Grooming salon to the Stone’s complex. When I picked up my dog this morning after a weeks vacation, he looked absolutely wonderful, having just been groomed before we picked him up.
