Coming in with a slightly larger 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display, the Nothing Phone (2) is right up there with the other big boys. It has a very high 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ technology, which makes every moment you're on the screen enjoyable. In terms of protection, there's nothing but only the best. Here we find it equipped with Gorilla Glass all around it in an exquisite skeletal frame made of aluminium. Then we have the IP53 rating, which makes it resistant to the environment.

Another exciting feature about the Nothing Phone (2) is the lights surrounding it, corresponding to different things you perform while using the smartphone.

Performance-wise, you can expect the Nothing Phone (2) to blaze through any apps and games you throw at it – and still have room for more.

All this is thanks to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with a speedy Cortex octa-core processor, powerful graphics, and 8GB or 12GB of memory.

In terms of camera, the Nothing Phone (2) will be blessed with a powerful 50MP+50MP dual primary camera that can capture some beautiful photos. It is packed with features like PDAF (phase detection autofocus) and OIS (optical image stabilization), which will be very useful. Then there's also the 16MP selfie camera to complement it nicely.

Moving on to the storage side of things, there are two options that you can choose from: either 128GB or 256 GB. With no expansion slot, you better choose wisely according to your budget.

The Nothing Phone (2) is powered by a 4700 mAh battery, which should last a good day or two in between charging. And when the time comes to plug it in, the 33W fast charger should make short work of it.

It will also have the latest operating system right out of the box, receiving three years of OS updates and four years of security patches. Then there’s also the dual-sim capability and 5G connectivity, which further adds more value to the smartphone.

Conclusion:

Nothing Phone (2) is a much-welcomed refresher to last year's edition. It is a unique smartphone, but this time comes with the performance to boot. Although the price is higher than previously, you will get great value out of it.

Nothing Phone (2) will be launched on July 11th 2023, although there's no confirmed price tag yet. You got to choose either White or Black colour.
