Sporting a large 6.74-inch AMOLED screen, the Ace 2 Pro looks stunning and comes in with a very high 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ technology, as well as an insanely high brightness of 1600 nits. Then we have the Asahi Glass providing the necessary protection against any mishaps that might happen.

Under the hood of the Ace 2 Pro will be the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset being paired with a very fast octa-core processor, Adreno 740 graphics and a choice of either 12GB, 16GB or 24GB of RAM.  This combination makes short work of any apps and games that you run, as it will blaze through everything that you throw at it. For gamers rejoice, as you get to run everything in its full glory. To prevent heat from building up, the flagship comes with multiple layers of graphite and thermal gel, which are both superconductive materials, allowing the heat to disperse quicker and not overheating the internals of the device.

Moving on to the camera side, the Ace 2 Pro will be sporting a 50MP+8MP+2MP triple primary camera with all the bells and whistles you would expect from an amazing point-and-shoot camera. Then there will be the 16MP selfie camera making the package complete.

Storage-wise, there’s plenty of options available on the Ace 2 Pro. You can choose either 256GB, 512GB or all the way up to 1TB of internal storage – all depends on whether you have the budget for it.

Another highlight of the show for the Ace 2 Pro, is on its crazily fast 150W battery charger, which typically only takes mere minutes to get it up to 100%. And with the 5000 mAh battery, it can easily last for a good day or two before you need to plug it in.

Finally, the latest Android 13 operating system is right out of the box, ensuring the latest software goes hand-in-hand with the fastest hardware. Not to forget that the Ace 2 Pro also has dual-sim capability and 5G connectivity which further adds to its value.

Conclusion:

OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is a refresher to last year’s offerings and ups the ante. Coming in with a large 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, great protection, the fastest hardware around, an amazing 50MP triple primary camera, a huge battery with a very fast 150W charger, and everything else in between. The price is very attractive as well.

OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is slated to be released on 23rd August 2023 with an estimated price tag of 2,999 Chinese Yuan or ~415 USD for the 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant, 3,399 Chinese Yuan or ~419 USD for the 16GB RAM + 512GB internal storage variant, 3,999 Chinese Yuan or ~550 USD for the 1TB internal storage + 24GB RAM variant.
