More than one year has passed since its debut, we now have the Magic V2 coming back stronger than ever. Coming in with a large 7.92-inch LTPO OLED screen, HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced, it sure is a feast for the eyes. Backed with an insanely high 1600 nits brightness and high 120Hz refresh rate, everything will look as fluid as it can be. When folded, it transforms into a 6.43-inch size that has an even higher brightness at 2500 nits.

The new HONOR Super-light Titanium Hinge6 is SCS certified for its reliability. This reliable structure and design bring more possibilities to be super-light.

The slimmest size does help a lot, especially that it is only 9.9mm in its folded state, 4.7mm in its unfolded state and weighs just 231 grams.

Under the hood of the Magic V2 will be the high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset being paired with a speedy octa-core processor, high-end graphics and an astonishing 16GB RAM. Not many foldable smartphones are in this territory, so this is something that make this device worth in gold.

Camera-wise, the Magic V2 will be sporting a 50MP+20MP+50MP triple primary camera which should be able to take top-notch photos to capture all your memories. It is loaded with PDAF (phase detection auto focus), OIS (optical image stabilization) and laser autofocus, making it an outstanding combination. Then there’s also a 16MP selfie camera for all your selfie needs.

Moving on to the storage side of things, there’s plenty of options available: 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of space. With no expansion slot, just go with the highest spec you can afford. Even with 256GB, it will take some time before it gets filled up to the brim. Some spring cleaning should get it back to a healthy state.

Another positive aspect about the Magic V2 is on its huge 5000 mAh battery capacity, a big improvement from the previous version. It should be more than enough to supply the necessary juice to power it up for a good full day. And with the 66W fast charger around, it won’t take long for it to get up to 100%.

Finally, we have the Magic V2 having the latest Android 13 operating system, dual-sim capabilities and 5G connectivity. This adds more value and longevity to an already complete package.

Conclusion:

Honor Magic V2 is a dream foldable smartphone that is on top of its class. Never mind the high price tag, you know that you will get the best of the best out of it.

Honor Magic V2 will be released on July 27th 2023 with a price tag of 8,999 Chinese Yuan or ~1,250 USD price tag for the 256GB internal storage variant, 9,999 Chinese Yuan and ~1,390 USD price tag for the 512GB internal storage variant, and 11,999 Chinese Yuan and ~1,670 USD price tag for the 1TB internal storage variant. Four great colors are available: Black, Silk Black, Silk Purple and Gold.
